Our family doubled a few weeks ago.
We welcome Boomer and Bear to our home.
Adopted from the local SPCA through a good friend.
Their mothers were cats and their fathers were cats.
A beautiful mix of black, gray and white fur.
We hope the joy and laughter they give us is felt by them too.

It has been a hectic month, and still going.
A sad departure, lonely days and a celebration.
My birthday was one of them
The best thing was that when I blew out the candles
there were things I knew I didn’t need to wish for.
Good health, a safe warm place to rest my head
great friends, good food
and a life partner to share it all.
There is still halloween,
one of my fave holidays
yes i know, all creepy and goulish
dark and scary
but come on … the fireworks, silly costumes
and THE MONSTER MASH ( its a song )
yes, the one day I can be as young as I can be
I wish all a hearty harvest and a wonderful winter.
